Solid ships, the Algerie and the Martell, but imo not outstanding in any aspect. Its there, but it does not shred planes like hell. With the Martell the AA starts begin to feel underwhelming. Martell especially is a fine cruiser, I even had good results in ranked with this ship, but it keeps the same characteristics: stay at range, keep to HE as much as possible and torps do not change up to Tier X. In my cruiser sortiment they stand within the upper third of my list regarding damage. Meanwhile i have finished the Martell and have learned to get along with Algerie and Martell. Kind of a jack-of-all-trades, the Algerie, not quite, because you never want to get close and personal with this ship. My vote goes for Yorck here again, which brought me quite some Banzaaai-charge-kills with 6 torps per side.Īnd concealment. Torps have decent range, but not the best speed and its only 3 per side. Guns are hardhitting with great range, but the flighttimes and arcs cant dont beat a Schschors at T7 for example. īasically the long-range-HE-spammers are absolutely my kind of ships, but i struggled hard with Algerie.įast in a straight line but not very reactive like a Pepsicola.Īrmor is there but I fail to notice where it is, when I need it. T4 was fun, T5 was fun, T6 was free-xped because my DeGrasse is better and then Algerie arrived. If it comforts you, I had similar problems. Hi alraedy hit the point, not much more to add to that. Really starting to think, is this worth grinding upwards? All I can do is to kite and fire HE's and dear lord when I get targeted by BB, one salvo and I'm lucky if still alive. I think i did ok with Bertin and Duguay but I can't figure this one out. AP seems to work from medium range if I see broadside but still I haven't managed to make any major contribution for my team at all so far. I try to keep at medium to long distance and rain HE but I have to say I'm disappointed to her fire starting abilities so far. I'm having trouble as well dealing any significant damage with my Algerie.
